A group of 19 students and two instructors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are about to embark on a journey of a lifetime. We will travel to Kyoto and Tokyo on a short-term study abroad trip to learn about Japanese Visual Culture in Context.
The purpose of this blog is to document our experiences, thoughts, and ideas about how visual culture works in Japan and how it differs from the United States. We invite everyone to comment and share our experiences with us.
